I would like to introduce to you with “Sewa Samarpan Sansthan (SSS)”, a Gurukul located in Chapki Village in remote and tribal area of District, Sonebhadra, UP. This Sewakunj gurukul is about 70KM east of Waidhan (MP) and 35 KM west of Renukut in the UP state. The Ashram was founded in year 2000 on 30 acre plot as a non-profit organization dedicated to providing Gurukul culture & education for impoverished children in the tribal area. Presently ninety tribal children from all remote parts of Sonebhadra district are studying in the Ashram with the facilities of boarding, lodging and clothing. It is more important that the SSS also provide classes in art, music and archery for children seeking a better life. A Shiva temple, whose foundation stone was laid by Shri Shankracharya of Badrinath is set for opening with all rituals on 09-Sep-13"

SSS was started with deep desire to serve deprived tribal population of these remote areas. With selfless effort and participation of people in surrounding region, the capacity of this Ashram has increased from 6 to ninety students now. Although there is always dearth of resources, it was able to bring a great change in the lives of tribal students of this district. This year one of the first batch student has completed mechanical engineering and is preparing for GATE. Some students are pursuing diploma course in engineering from Polytechnic Colleges.8 students have joined polytechnic this year. Many students got good jobs in Government sector like paramilitary forces etc. Few students have excelled in Archery and won gold medals at national junior level and have been taken into army for further training. Such successes won the confidence of villagers who started approaching the Ashram willingly to keep their children in the hostel.

SSS has two ambulances and a BMS doctor who keep on touring sourrounding villages meeting medical needs of needy. Regular medical camps are held with the active help of BHU doctors and referal cases are further attended.

Because of the overwhelming positive impact of the program and desire to never turn away an interested child, SSS depend on personal and corporate contributions to survive. Every contribution that comes in means that another child can participate in these important life building programs.

This year more than five hundred tribal’s have approached to Ashram waiting for their son get chance to enroll in the Ashram. But because of little resources it is difficult to accept all children. SSS wants to introduce modern education in the Ashram for which a Computer Centre and a TV hall have been recently opened. Building has been constructed with the help of well meaning donors.Hardware and accessories have also been purchased by the help of doners. The challenge is to provide power for running the systems as there is no electricity in the vicinity and present 1 KW solar panels are not sufficient. We have to install additional 5 KW solar panels , the expenditure on which will be approx Rs 6 lacs. This expenditure is proposed to met from generous contributions from organisations and individuals.Your goodself is requested to make the difference in the life of these deprived tribal children with a generous contribution and support for this great social cause you are well known for.We will keep you posted of utilisation of expenditures including sending the progress photographs.Donations are exempt under section 80 G of IT Act and the contributions can be paid either through cheque or electronic transfer to our our bank account as under:
